It's something that's hard to put into words. - Fujino Enchi Park and Ponmoshiri Island(Approximately 2.5 km)
At Fujino Enchi Park, you can see the Ezo daylilies in full bloom from June to July.
Ponmoshiri Island is a small island with a colony of black-tailed gulls, and it can be seen from Fujino Enchi Park Observation Deck. - Himenuma and Himenuma Observatory(Approximately 5km)
It is a small lake with a circumference of 1km, surrounded by virgin forest.
There are walking paths around the area that can be explored in about 20 minutes.
Also, on clear, windless days, you can see the "Sakasa Fuji (Mt Fuji reflected on the lake)" reflected on the water's surface.
From Himenuma Observatory, located on the way to Himenuma, you can enjoy views of Oshidomari Port and Rebun Island.

Caltha marsh marigold(April to May)
- Rishiri Island Island is located at a high latitude of 45 degrees north, so alpine plants that can only be found at altitudes of around 2,000 meters on Honshu can be seen on the plains.
It is also a treasure trove of alpine plants, including many endemic species such as the poppy and the buttercup.

Rishiri Art Visitor CenterIn addition to historical exhibitions that closely relate to life on Rishiri Island, this facility also offers opportunities to experience art, culture, and the arts.The facility also includes Mt Rishiri Visitor Center, which displays essential information to know before climbing Mount Mt Rishiri and tips to make your climb more enjoyable.Come experience the delicate art, history, culture, and art.The building's design is inspired by a ship sailing across the open sea, with a roof shape modeled after Rishiri Fuji, a setting sun sinking beneath it, exterior walls whose appearance changes with the passage of time due to the interplay of light and shadow, and surrounding flowers and trees that create the vibrant colors of each season.The building itself is beautiful and blends in beautifully with the surrounding nature, so after experiencing the art inside, be sure to take a walk around the building.*Visitors to the "Hokkaido Jomon Town Handbook & Stamp Rally" should also enter through the main entrance of the Art Visitor Center.
